A Long-time Organizer with the Network Needs Our Help Repairing Her Car. Main fundraiser photoGoFundMe – From Mouse:

In July of 2023 my abusive ex fiance stole my 2006 BMW, the last time I saw him and my car he had his hands around my throat and when I woke up he was yelling at me and dragging me around the house by my pony tail. I passed out for about 5 minutes. I was and am still afraid he will kill me. I reported the Domestic Violence and stolen car. Since then I was physically and sexually assaulted and I lost my home and am living about 15 miles outside of Aberdeen in an undisclosed location received a call from Phoenix, Arizona police department my car was found and impounded in Phoenix, Arizona.

I picked my car up in Arizona and made it to Barstow when some idiot came out from between 2 semi’s and pulled out in front of me in the fast lane and slammed on the brakes I am currently in a neck brace and using s cane awaiting test results to see the extent of the damage and my passenger broke his neck in two places storage fee is currently about $1500 going up by $75 a day and shipping is between 300-700. A agency in town will help repair the car and it still runs and drives. The car is basically my way of safely telling my ex he no longer has power and control over me and telling my self I will no longer tolerate that type of behavior I am no longer a victim I AM A SURVIVOR. Please help.

A Comrade on the Streets Needs Our Help With Alternative Housing – GoFundMe

From Josh:

My name is Josh
I’m currently homeless trying to find a place in my price range is hard right now and I have diabetes n sleep apnea and neuropathy and my health ain’t all that good in that area and I need to get out of the cold and I found a motorhome in mind that I’m needing and the cost is 2,000 and it would help me a lot with a place to live and if anyone could help that would be great thanks.
I routinely give back to my unhoused community and show up for weekly community meals at the local unhoused camp. My hope is to fill my own cup first so that i may be of more support to others. Thank you for the opportunity!
Sincerely Josh.

The principle of “solidarity, not charity” means that actions are based on the stated needs of the people themselves, working cooperatively rather than administering from above.
